They send her to a clinic for treatment for weeks. Till this day she has pain on her bottom leg, this was in Feb. since then the nursing home fixed the hole and the lawyer says he gets no response from the nursing home.... should we change lawyers or what can we do? they took picture ok my moms leg and the ditch that caused it.

The Statute of Limitations to file a claim is 4 years from the accident. Contact them to see if they have filed a lawsuit. If not satisfied, she can call me.

Hi - You should ask the lawyer you hired these questions. If she is not happy with the lawyer she hired, then you should call another one.

If the lawyer is getting no response to his letters or phone calls, filing a lawsuit might prompt one.

She should speak to the current lawyer and find out the status of the case, as well as what the lawyer intends to do and when.

If he is not comfortable answering her questions or with filing suit, or if she is not comfortable with him or his answers, then she would be better served by finding a new lawyer.

Best of luck.
