Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

If you own a vacant lot in a community that has association fees and special assessments, are you legally required to pay these? The lot is in Florida and we live in Minnesota.

Probably. You need to see the deed restrictions and covenants of the association to know for sure.

I wouldn't see why they would fully (or partially) exempt you just because it is vacant.
