Legal Question in Disability Law in Florida

my husband is disabled with several health conditions which require him to have ac and we moved into a place about 6 weeks ago the ac hasnt worked right since day one after several attempts to get it fixed the ac guy said on tues unit was shot and landlord has known even tho he kept telling us it was our fault we advised him because of medical conditions we needed ac he said if you dont like it move out we are paying for a home with working ac we have had none for 5 days now it is 90+ in house and starting to affect my husband physically he has breathing troubles as well as heart/ other issues
