former friend will not remove boat

former friend will not remove ageing 34' boat from my dock after repeated calls and letters . this has bin going on for more than a year. i'm afraid the boat might sink. what are my options thank you

Give him wrtten notice that it needs to be removed. Set a deadline. If it is not removed, callk the coast guard and the local sherrif to see what they can do.

Under the cercumctances and if the vessel is in peril of sinking, it may then be a risk to public safety on interference, at which time, Law Enforcement may order the removal of vessels deemed to be an interference or a hazard to public safety. F.S. 327.70

327.70 Enforcement of this chapter and chapter 328.--

(1) This chapter and chapter 328 shall be enforced by the Division of Law Enforcement of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and its officers, the sheriffs of the various counties and their deputies, and any other authorized law enforcement officer, all of whom may order the removal of vessels deemed to be an interference or a hazard to public safety, enforce the provisions of this chapter and chapter 328, or cause any inspections to be made of all vessels in accordance with this chapter and chapter 328.
