Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

LLC's Physical Address

I'm attempting to start a webhosting/reseller/online marketing business. I intend on forming an LLC and initially working from my home office and VIA a laptop. When forming my LLC I plan to use a paid Registered Agent service....but,since I will initially be working from home, I'm concerned about my home address being available to the general public. While browsing through the state of Florida's Corporation website, I find a number of companies with 'PMB'' in their physical address (postal mail box). Is it acceptable to have a Postal Mail center as an LLC's physical address (not the mailing address) as long as the Registered Agent's address is in actual/physical street address?

I'm also wondering about business licenses. Since all of my 'webhosting' computers will be owned by another business entity (not related to me), and located at another location, AND technically I can perform my business operations with a laptop at any Starbucks location...do I even need an occupational license (or Business Tax receipt) for Orange County?

I thank you in advance for you help!

Re: LLC's Physical Address

It will benefit you to use a PMB that has a person on staff that can sign for packages so you can receive Fed Ex deliveries. You should Check with the Orange County Occupational Licensing Office to determine if you will be required to apply for one.

Technology is ahead of the law and they want that revenue; so you will need the occupational license. I have many online clients; so let me know if you need anything else. Having an attorney to answer questions is the best way to avoid future problems.
