Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

I wrote a company check to a vendor on 6/10/13 for $2527 only after asking my bank to authorize an overdraft on my account. The check was returned anyway for insufficient funds. I haven't been able to pay that amount and the vendor threatened to take legal action.
I do want to honor the check but my business has gotten worst and I am in the process to change to a different career.
I received a call this morning from a lawyer saying that I was going to get a citation.
What should I do.
I am the only owner of the business and it is a S corp in FL.
