Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

My husband died March 13,2011. Now all the Hospitals and nursing homes want me to pay his co-pays and I don't have it since they stopped his social security. Am i responsible for this?

You are not responsible for his bills unless you signed something agreeing to pay them.
