Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Hello and thank you, I lost every thing in the financial crises, house, car and all our savings. We moved to Austria in april of 2009. My wife and i lived in Florida for 18 years in our home. Plese help me with the statute of limitation, my wife died and i want to come back and live with my sister in New Jersey, is the statute in FL. or New Jersey. THANK YOU PJS

Not sure what you are asking but I think you are wondering if there is a judgment against you. If there is and it was renewed per the statute in Florida then the judgment would be on the records. However, you were never barred from Florida or the US for that matter. If you have funds that can be attached through garnishment, then that could happen. Would need your name and information as to what actually happened and where to see if there is anything that would prevent you from returning and if there is a valid garnishment /judgment etc.
