Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Personal Lien

Is it possible for someone to file a lien on a person or does it have to be on a specific property? The property in question was discharged in a bankruptcy and the lien was filed after the bancruptcy was already filed. Now several years later i find that there is a lien on me personally which wasnt there prior to declaring bancrutcy

Re: Personal Lien

Liens are filed on property not on the person. Since the lien was not discharged it is valid.
