Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I have a question about a fence company threatening to repossess my fence, about 2 years ago when I bought my house my husband had a fence put in, I thought it was paid in full but apparently it was financed, I knew nothing about this until April 12th when the fence company called me demanding money, they demanded the full $5556.80 by April 29th, I told them I needed more time since I knew nothing about this until now, I offered to pay half of the $5556.80 on April 29th, and the other half on May 30th, they said no they wanted it all on April 28th, I also offered $5000 on April 29th if that would be good enough to callit even, they also said no, they said they filed a UCC1 on December 2015, I am the home owner and I did not sign the contract, my husband did, also I have not had 1 phone call or any letters from them in almost 2 years this hit me out of the blue, in one text the manager Gregg said you keep the fence as is and we will keep the lein as is and that they would get paid if I sold my house, then he said he would repo the fence if I did not pay him all of the money by April 28th, I told him I don't have it I could do half then and the other half May 30 that I did not have the money to pay him allat once, he said to bad figure it out, what can I do

You ate being scammed. Call the records office in your county to see if a line has been placed on your house. If so don't pay anything because by law, that is,all they can do.
