Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Does a student loan judgment attach as a lien on homestead real property

The US sued upon a defaulted student loan and obtained a judgment against the debtor. The judgment was recorded in the county that the debtor lives in. The debtor owns homestead real property in the county.

Does the judgment lien attach to homestead real property or is the property protected from the lien?
