Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Hi I was arrested in 2009 for violating a restraining order . I was never arrested for domestic violence or anything like that prior to the restraining order. The restraining order was put on me by my girlfriends parents becuse they didn't want us seeing each other . Long story short one of her friends invited me over to their house and basically set me up with having her there. Now the person who set me up has admitted they did and I'm trying to get the injustion order violation expunged but I don't know if they will because it's considered dating violence . It's the only thing on my record and I just need to know if it can be removed or if I can hire a lawyer to subpoena the friend to court and testify she wrongfully accused me to get it removed ???

The only way to potentially get it expunged is if the State dismisses it, or you go to trial and win. It sounds like you have a good defense which is often rare in these cases. Therefore, you need to get an attorney right away to take steps for dismissal or a trial.
