Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Back in 2012 when i was 15 and charged as adult. I was arrested and got a total of 6 years, 1 in jail, 2 on community control and 3 on felony probation. I did my one year in jail and now am past my one year of communinty control. I know in florida if you complete atleast half your term successfully you can appeal to the court for it to be terminated. I was hoping to get the other year of this community control terminated and just do my probation and be done. I have mitigation such as A B honors in school (graduating this year), paid court fees, attending college, and havent had any problems at all with my officer. I just want to know the likelyhood of these type of things being terminated and modifiyed (i was told i have to live with my dad until everything is done but ill be like 21 by then and would that to be changed so i can move out when im 18 in 6 months like any other human) lawyers are asking close to 1000 to do this and id be upset if i paid 1000 and nothing happened or is going to happen. In jacksonville Florida, duval county circuit court.

Not sure what your question is, but you took the first right step in seeking an attorney. They know the judges and prosecutors and they will help your chance at getting your community control converted to probation. It sounds like you've been doing well but ultimately it is up to the judge, not the defense attorney or even the prosecutor. However, getting an attorney GREATLY increases your chance of success.
