Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Hi my name is Sha'Monda Moody. Yesterday I was driving to the bank I was in a rush because my sister had to go to school. There was a car in front of me that kept hitting her brakes every 50 feet I looked in front of her and there was at least 2 miles between her and the car in front of her. We pull up to a red light and I eased up behind her because I knew she would push on her brakes as she inched her way closer to the car in front of her. I looked down to turn down the radio and I tapped her car. I backed up and saw that there was no damage. She didn't get out of the car so I figured she didn't feel it and like I said there was no damage to her car or mine. When She pulled over to the left turning Lane I figured she was checking that there wasn't any damage and there wasn't so I pulled my car up. She told the officer that she rolled down her window to flag me down. I honestly didn't see her. I was at a red light so I didn't go anywhere but I do realize that it was stupid of me not to pull over when she pulled over whether there was damage or not. I don't have a court date yet but I just want to know what to expect. I just moved to Florida so I don't even have a Florida license yet and I was driving my sisters car. This is my first ticket in Florida so I just want to know what to expect

Fault doesn't really matter if you're being charged with leaving the scene, a criminal charge. Because there are various defenses, you need to meet with an attorney to see how you can avoid jail and other penalties.
