Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My sister is currently going through a custody battle. One day while watching my nephew while she was working the child's dad and the police came to the home with a pickup order. I called my sister to let her know what was going on and specified to the officers that she was on her way and I cannot let the child leave until she gets here. Upon my mom arriving home she let the officers take the child because the office threatened to break the door down. After retrieving the child an officers asked me for my identification. I gave him my ID and a week later they came back with a warrant for my arrest for resisting arrest without violence. I have never had any prior convictions and I have never been arrested before. What should I do?

It sounds as if the charge against you is questionable. You really need to talk to an attorney in your area to see what is best for your situation.
