Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
SJCSO arrives for real estate agent to remove lockbox. I am assleep- he pounds on door untill I wake up and answer door- he puts foot in door and I immediately shove door closed. He threatens me etc with arrest etc- K9 officer. My mistake , to open door. But an attempt at illegal entry? and wnere in the statutes does it say a cop can block your door whebn NO illega activity or warrants are present? He was black and she was white and I think he wanted to impress the white girl.

I think the racial aspect in your case is irrelevant. However, the short answer to your question is that without a warrant, they have NO right to enter. Period. If you let them in freely and voluntarily, then you waive that warrant requirement. If you have been charged with something after such a search, I strongly suggest you get an attorney in your area immediately.
