Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

ticket differences

Hello,

my friend and I both received tickets for ''exposing sexual organs'' on september 12th at 3 am. however on both tickets the date to appear in court is september 3rd. also the handwriting on both tickets is completely different and they are both signed with the same officers name. the signatures are completely different and the way they sign their officer number is different as well. can we get out of this? if not what is a typical punishment?

Re: ticket differences

You should call the misdemeanor court clerk to find out what your real court date is.

I don't see any defense in the way the tickets were written, but you should speak to a local lawyer about it.

If this is your first offense, you are probably looking at a fine or probation, but you should contact a lawyer to be sure. In the more rural counties, punishments can be more severe.
