Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I told a guy online to meet me at such and such location and I would knock him out( I had no way of actully doing it as I live over 1,500 miles away, but he doesn't know that.) He then responded to me with a comment saying " You are marked for death now m***** f****." My question is if he called the law on me for making a threat, wouldn't he also be in trouble for making a death threat to me?

Since you had no ability to carry it out, you might be ok. However, the best thing you can do is not communicate in any way with this person ever again. Blocking this person, if possible, would even be better. If the police do contact you, say nothing, and call a lawyer immediately.
