is there a web site to look up the outcome of previous cases that are similar to my situation I need to know if it is going to be worth me filing my case.

You may go to WestLaw, Lexis or Fastcase, but all will charge a fee.

Lexisone.com does of some free case law research, but it is very limited and hard to use.

I believe law.com might also have some free caselaw research.

The other suggestion is to visit your local law library. Law libraries can be found at all law schools and most main branch courthouses.
