Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My Boyfriend and I want to get married. He's worried because he's on child support & his wages are garnished that they will garnish my wages as well(and income tax)..right now I'm on SSDI. So I'm curious to know what really will happen?

Your wages can not be garnished for someone else's debt, unless you allow it.

Also do not file tax returns together or YES they will take your income.

You can file married but separate.
