Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

child support

At what age does child support stop? Our divorce papers written in FL, in 1992, (Mom & child live in GA but all jurisdiction STAYS in FL) papers say nothing about paying support thru collage and child turns 18 in May.

Our paperwork says ''permamant child support for child''

My X wife expects us to pay it thru collage. Thanks so much for any advice.

Re: child support

If the divorce agreement is silent on this, support stops at 18 or when the child graduates from high school. In this case, it should stop in May or June, whenever graduation is following the 18th birthday.
