Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am currently court ordered to recieve child support in the total amount of $500, $400 towards current child support, and $100 towards backed. I am receiving approximately $60 a month is garnished wages, and my childs father has not payed willingly in over a year. I call child support enforcement and they say, over their recorded message, that they are automatically enforcing. I am wondering at what point judical intervention happens and what I can do to speed this process along. Also, if he is not seeing his child, speaking to his child, or returning phone calls if abandonment can be filed for.

Child support enforcement gets around to things when they get around to things. Your best bet is to hire a private attorney. You may be able to terminate his rights for abandonment, but why would you want to, since he is not seeing the child either way, and termination would end any chance of getting child support?
