Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I need to figure out how to file a motion for my child support case. I have 3 children who are 21, 18, and 17 years old. They are all emancipated but i still pay child support. I have arrears and the last attorney i spoke with said that i need to file a motion to receive credits towards arrears. How do i do this. Sate of florida

You have to file a petition to stop the support plus get credits towards over payment of arrears. Use a lawyer.

You will need to file a Petition to Modify and as part of the relief sought you can request that you get a credit towards your arrears for the overage that you have paid.
