What does voluntary dismissal of civil procedures 1.420(a) (1) mean in the state of FL?

It means that one party is dropping their claim in a lawsuit. The dismissal can be "with prejudice," which means it can never be brought again, or it can be "without prejudice," which means it can be refiled.
