Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I'm a Florida resident am the non custodial parent of an emancipated active duty married veteran who no longer resides with his mother a Delaware resident. I am still paying child support to the mother though none of the parties involve reside in New York which is why NY Family court declined my petition to terminate the order. I've informed the N.Y.S Child support enforcement agency of the matter, furnished supporting documents and their response was the need a court order to terminate the order. I've attempted to file a petition to Delaware family court though received an answer asking the case to remain in New York. Please advise me. What remedy can I exercise.

Have your court order domesticated in the county you currently reside in.

The NY judge should have referred the matter to Florida. Domesticate the NY judgment in Florida ( filing required) and start proceeding in Fla. Good luck.

If no one lives in NY then have the case transferred to FL.
