Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My girlfriend ran away from home last week and came to my house because she needed a place to stay. Her parents and police came looking for her. I told them she wasnt there but when they searched they found her and charged me with "interferring with the custody of a minor." I made bail the next day but do i have to avoid contact with her until my court date? Shes 17 turning 18 in Oct. and ill turn 19 in July.

If she is still in school, she is considered a minor. I suggest you stay away until she graduates or becomes emancipated.
