Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

harrassment

My boyfriend is repeatedly harrassed by his ex. (They were not married but have 3 children together.) She has made false accusations of violence against him, one that ended in his arrest that was later dropped by the state for lack of evidence. She calls him frequently to yell and then hangs up the phone, has run up bills in his name and fails to pay them, and frequently misses scheduled drop-off and pick-ups of the kids. What can he do to keep this from happening to him and his kids in the future?

Re: harrassment

There's no one single solution to the problem. If she files false criminal charges and he gets arrested, he might sue her for maliscious prosecution. If she keeps missing drop-offs and pick-ups, he should file a motion for contempt. He shouldn't talk to her on the phone, but should demand communication by email only outside of emergencies. And how can she run up bills in his name?
