Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My husband found out he has a 3yr old daughter, however the mother signed over temporary custody to her parents. The Birth mother is willing to put him on the birth certificate, if we get him on his daughters birth certificate can he get the concurrent custody terminated so he can be a part of his daughters life. the granparents have said to their daughter that Ayana (3yr old) is there daughter now and the mother is not in a situation to get custody back herself but her father wants her to grow up with him is it easy enough as getting the birth certificate updated and terminating. can the mother switch the concurrent custody to the father

Once he gets on the birth certificate he has to establish his parental rights, he should win vs the Grandparents (who have zero rights, zero).
