Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have an inheritance. I'm currently married but starting divorce proceedings. If i purchase a house, would he get half. Ways around it?

Don't purchase a house until after you are divorced. Make sure your inheritance was never deposited into a joint account or used for joint expenses, etc. You should contact an attorney to handle your divorce.

An inheritance given to only you is not a marital asset so do not buy a house and keep that money seperate until you are divorced.
