Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Ex is late with a court settlement payment. Written on check Court settlement 1/1/12, on memo line Omega 1/1/22...Omega word from Bible meaning end.. We went to court in 2012, because he stopped paying alimony.. we agreed upon him signing over real estate and paying me 200 a month for 10 years.. if he has written this on check can I use it to take him back to court for the entire amount owed? How much for an attorney just to send letter to judge because he is in contempt of court and have the money garnished from his FL FRS retirement plan? I would be happy with any help....Thank you in advance.

So you modified the settlement agreement. No attorney can tell you with confidence the likelihood of prevailing re: any potential course of action without actually review the documents. A letter to the judge isn't going to cut it. Schedule an actual in-office consultation with an experienced family law attorney. Evening, and weekend appointments are available at the Tarpon Springs office.
