I got married at 18 and it lasted 3 months... I never got divorced because I didn't find the need to at the moment. Now I'm getting married in August and my x had agreed to the divorce do I was planning to do it in may. However I just found out yesterday that he moved back to cuba. I still have contact with him but I don't know how to go about the divorce... Can you please help me...

If you and your ex are both in agreement, you both will sign the necessary documents and at least one of you can appear in person before the judge on the day of the hearing, than you can file for a fast divorce by mutual consent between foreign citizens pursuant Dominican Law 142, that allows you both to get divorce in approx 3 weeks. Will he agree to the divorce? You can start the action in Florida and have him served in Cuba.
