Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Married 21 years and divorced (only divorced for approx. 1 yr.) with alimony paid in Florida.

Remarried same guy again in Las Vegas, divorced again 3 yrs later in Wisconsin (alimony paid in Wisconsin, was finished paying in May 2013) Never left after 2nd divorce from him due to health issues on his part so we're still together. Can I go back and try and re-instate alimony from either marriage to him. 31 yrs together out of 32, neither have ever married anyone else and are back in Florida living.

Generally when you remarry the same person, alimony is terminated, but perhaps an attorney who reads your dissolution of marriage decree would have a different opinion. But you admitted that he paid the alimony from the Wisconsin divorce, so the only alimony to look at is the Florida alimony.

Getting married even to the same person resets the clock so you are not likely to be able to "reinstate" the alimony.
