Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex owes me $8k + in child support arrears. He won a personal injury lawsuit in January of $20k but yet, I received nothing. Wasn't his lawyer obligated to pay his past due support out of his winnings? Do I have a case against her or the law firm he used?
