Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

How do I petition a Florida court to modify or dissolve a Chapter 39.504 Injunction?

First, it is the will of both parents and the children for a reunification and no criminal case action was involved. The injunction was leveled against me(the father) and I have worked closely with many agencies and private parties to make sure all the needed criteria of the injunction has been met. I have all the needed paperwork prepared and ready to be viewed by a judge, I just don't know how to move to modify or dissolve a chapter 39.504 injunction.

In the law Chapter 39.504 Item (4) paragraph (C) it states "The terms of the final injunction shall remain in effect until modified or dissolved by the court. The petitioner, respondent, or caregiver may move at any time to modify or dissolve the injunction. Notice of hearing on the motion to modify or dissolve the injunction must be provided to all parties, including the department."

So the bottom line question is now that I am ready to petition the courts how would I best go about doing so without a lawyer?

Suggest you go to your court library as they have the forms to use. Your court self help department may also assist.

You have to petition to re-open the case (which is likely closed), then get before the judge.
