Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Retained attorney . Both parties live with in 240 miles of each other . Father trying to establish custody and visitation. Baby mama refusing to meet half way. Have not seen child in 9 months. Always paid child support up until 6 months ago . offered to start paying again if mother would meet half way to visit child.

Legal rights as a father? No one seems to have urgency for child to be able to see father. Seems as tho baby mama is holding all the cards. What are my rights as a father? I have always supported my child up until 6 months ago and still maintain insurance. Never married . Need advise . Miss my child . I've missed out on so much.

You have to push the issue and get before the court as soon as you can to enforce your rights. Use of a lawyer is recommended in your case.

Your failure to pay will work against you. Visitation and child support are 2 different issues.
