Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My sister was evicted from her home and I took in her two children over a month ago. I have no signed documentation from her just a verbal agreement and dcf is concerned for her and the children because she's lost them in the past! How do I go about keeping them in the home with me. I've raised them for most of their life anyway. Do I need a power of attorney or something more than that?

If this is a short term arrangement (less than 60 days) talk to the DCF representative; usually they will say what paperwork, if any, they want.

You could do one of two things listed by the other attorneys. Temporary custody by a relative is also on the plate that you could do.
