My son's mom has closed the case with child support enforcement Will child support take my taxes for back child support even though the case with enforcement is closed

So long as you owe zero, the case should be completely closed.

If that occurred in prior years it will probably happen again. DOR cannot be trusted to stop Intercept Orders without the Judge ordering it. Ask for a court order.
