Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Uncontested Divorce

I am divorcing my wife, & it's uncontested. We both agree we want a divorce, but she lives Hawaii & I live in Florida. We have no children, no joint assets, nothing to fight over, we just want a quick & simple divorce. I have downloaded papers from the courthouse that say she has to sign the papers so I have sent them to her through the mail. AM I doing th right thing, or does she need to sign at all? I am so confused, but don't see the need for an attorney as it is uncontested & that would be a waste of money. Please help

Re: Uncontested Divorce

Yes she does have to sign certain papers. You also need an attorney. I can tell by the questions that you are asking that you dont know the process. You are not required to know the process, but if you do something wrong it will just take more time and effort and your divorce may not go through as smooth as you would like.
