Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

If a married man keeps his marriage a secret from his girlfriend and moves the GF across country to live with him in his home in Fl. and she finds out after moving does she have any legal recourse against him for deceptive actions?

Maybe. It might be the first time anyone has brought that sort of a case. There would have to be significant damages to make it worth an attorney's efforts to take the case, so the boyfriend would have to be pretty wealthy and have assets that can be taken to pay a judgment. There's no insurance coverage for something like this. Since the likelihood of a payout is slim, the attorney who takes the case would likely want to be paid by the hour with a significant upfront retainer. I think someone would be looking at spending a healthy 5 figures to bring this suit.
