You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

Unfortunately, you may not be entitled to a refund of your monies. Further, even if you did get your monies back, you would not receive any compensation for any work done on the interior of the unit. You need to speak with whomever closed on your mobile home. If they cannot provide a clear title, then a civil action against them would be proper. Representation by an attorney whould be adviseable.

Re: mobile home park

Were your renting or buying. If you were renting, you don't get a title. If your payments are for buyiong, then you are entitled to a title free and clear of all liens. You cannot get your money back; there is no basis for that. You should get a title for the property if there was a purchase agreement.
