Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I obtained a loan for my nephew on a car because he wasnt on his job a year. He had the car for 1 1/2 years. A week ago he went out and bought a car on his own. He returned the other car to me. The radio is not working, the air conditioner is not working, the transmission light is on, etc. Legally is there anything i can do to make him pay at least for the repairs if not more?
