Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I quit my job about 3 months ago because of unpaid weeks of compensation. I can only go off how much should have made over the amount of time I was employed there minus what my w2 forms show I was paid, because when I wasn't paid for a week, nothing was given to show that, even when requested. The amount is around $20,000. The owner of the company opened a new company, but it's really just the same company with a new name. He did this when his patents were issued(the patents are in the new company name) so that if anyone sued the original company, he could just bankrupt it. He has stated that was his intent to me and others. That company is being sued by at least 1 other former employee for the same reason. What are my options, if any?
