Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I am on the title for a car with my daughter. The car was recently paid off, and now I want my name removed from it. She lives in PA and I am in FL, and we purchased the car in VA, where we both previously lived. If I sign the title over to her, am I legally released from my responsibility for it? In other words, is there anything that could occur (negative consequences) if she does NOT transfer the title in a timely manner? She is 22 years old.

A new title, solely in her name must be issued. Your merely signing may be insufficient.
