Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

While out of town, my neighbor or one of his guest did $300 damage to my fence between our properties. I have no direct information as to who did it. Is the property owner still responsible for the damage since he said he didn't do it

No, the neighbor would only be responsible if he was negligent and caused the problem or was negligent in not supervising his guest who caused the problem. Without proof of either you have no claim against the neighbor.
