Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida

I was in a car accident, because it couldn't be proven who was at fault the cop said that it is a conflicting accident so no one was ticketed or was found at fault he basically said that we would have to pay for the damages of our own car. I recently got a letter from the insurance of the guy I got into the accident with asking for reimbursement claiming I did not have insurance during the accident. I wanted to know whether I had insurance or not can he sue me for the damages done to his car?

Yes he can sue you for damages done to his car whether or not you had insurance. He would have to prove up his case to win. If you think he caused the accident, you can countersue for your damages as well, and it is likely a compulsory counterclaim so you have to file it with your answer. Seek some legal guidance as resolving the issue may be the best path.
