I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Insurance companies have an obligation to investigate and pay claims in good faith to their policy holders. You really need to consult with an attorney right away who has experience in handling insurance claims. In particular, you should talk to an attorney who is board certified in civil trial law, as are the lawyers in our office. Board certification means that the lawyer is an expert in handling civil trial cases. This area includes insurance claims. There are strict time limit to bringing a claim of this type. We offer a free initial consultation and would be happy to speak to you about the situation.

Hard to answer your inquiry. You really need to contact a local attorney with all your paperwork including the actual insurance policy to see what your options may be.
