Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I am fighting my former employer for unemployment benefits. My appeal has to be submitted in 20 days. Is there Legal grounds for my claim. The state is florida. Please see below appeal response.

The reason for my appeal is that my former lied about my voluntary quit. On August 1, 2009, my employer informed me that he would not be able to pay me for two weeks while he was away on his honeymoon but as soon as he returned he would. He also cut my hours from 40 to 12 hours a week. I was to work on Monday�s, Wednesday�s and Friday�s. Margo Greer who was who Mr. Gaspard left in charge when he left asked me to work additional hours, which I did because I knew there were case status updates that needed to sent out to the clients. Upon Mr. Gaspard�s return I inquired as to if I was going to get paid that Monday he said unfortunately no. Mind you that is what he said he would do but he said that he couldn�t and that he would pay me on Wednesday. On Wednesday when I inquired again he stated that he did not have time to calculate my hours and that he would get to it when he cans. I then became upset and left the office called my father. Mr. Gaspard informed my father that he had his rent to pay, mortgage to pay and several other bills and once he is through paying those bills what ever is left over he will see what he can do as far as paying me. He also said he could not afford to pay me anymore and that he was going to speak with me this week regarding that. That following week. Mr. Gaspard hired a new person which means Mr. Gaspard lied to my father about not being able to pay me and that he could no longer afford to pay me.
