Not getting paid

My brother has been working with a company for over 4 years and recently since Oct. his direct deposit did not go thru, he has been told to hold on money is coming, meanwhile it has been 2 1/2 months received no pay , he continues to go to work , but they keep giving him the run around and all the other employees and meanwhile they have just hired some new people??? what should he do?

Your brother may have a federal case pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act. He may also have other remedies available to him in either state or federal court. The federal statute is very employee-friendly. For example, it may require the company to pay him twice what is owed, as well as his attorneys fees. However, it is a very complicated statute, and there are a large number of exceptions to it.
