Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Pay reversed

I work as a salesman for a Fl. company and have direct deposit. About six months ago a woman purchased a carpet with us and after it was installed she felt it had a defect. The manufacturer Shaw inspected the carpet and found nothing wrong. The woman unhappy with the results of the inspection decided to dispute her $2600.00 AmEx charge. AmEx charged back the company for the full amount, and the company decided to charge back me for the full amount. I would think if anything they would reverse my commission paid over 5 months ago of $197.00. Instead, without any notice at all, they went into my bank account and reversed my last paycheck withdrawing almost $600.00 worth of last week's sales, leaving my account at $0.00 and resulting in 5 overdrafts from purchases over the weekend. We have no agreement to such a senario. I've talked to them and they say they will issue me a check only for the amount taken back but not the overdraft fees. Is this legal? Do they owe me for the amount taken plus the overdraft fees?
