Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I have a prescription for pain from kidney stones and had to take one because I have another stone coming. Now I have a drug screen to do and no current script, can I be fired for this or was I legal to take it?

Notify the screener that you are taking prescription medication and the type of medication that it is. Then if you do get a positive result they can compare the results to what you are taking. If the prescription is in your name you should not have much problem.
